Job Title : Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)

Job Description

The pharmacist will perform various administrative tasks, direct pharmacy staff as needed, and manage 350 script verifications per day.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks in the pharmacy.
  • Direct pharmacy staff as needed.
  • Manage and verify 350 scripts per day.
  • Maintain inventory and manage pharmacy projects.
  • Ensure a patient-centered approach and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Assist in specialty pharmacy tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida
  • High school diploma
  • 5 years' experience as a Pharmacist
  • 2 years' experience as a manager or team leader
  • 2 years' high-volume retail pharmacy experience

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Previous experience with PrimeCare US1 pharmacy software preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must be willing to obtain certification within 1 year of converting to permanent

    • Work Environment

    This role is 100% onsite in a closed-door pharmacy located in Plantation, FL, with a planned move to Miami Gardens in Q3 of 2025. The shift is Monday-Thursday with flexible hours and Fridays from 8 : 30 am to 12 : 30 pm. The environment is high-volume, handling 350 script verifications per day, and fosters a team setting with a ratio of three technicians to one pharmacist. The role offers a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, including six paid holidays.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00 / hr.
