Position : EHR Implementation Specialist

Location : Nashville, TN

Full-time

The EHR Implementation Specialist will work closely with the EHR and IT Support teams to support Electronic Health Records (EHR) implementation including but not limited to clinical discovery, training, and support. This position will oversee and troubleshoot complications making sure they are being triaged and resolved, and that support is provided during EHR go lives for existing counties and new contracts. Ensure go live auditing is performed and that any issues are brought to on-site admin and the EHR Implementation Manager.

Required :

  • Three (3) years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Experience training groups and individuals using a variety of methods
  • Experience creating Training Documentation

Responsibilities :

  • Identify and assess current and future training needs
  • Perform clinical discovery and fill out template for site-specific configuration needs
  • Develop Training Documentation
  • Design and implement an overall training plan utilizing approved training methods
  • Provide support immediately preceding and throughout go-lives; assessing information collected and troubleshooting the user needs
  • Refer cases that are not able to be resolved to internal support team or escalate to EHR Implementation Manager
  • Ensure a clear and smooth transition from the implementation team to the help desk post go live
  • Assist in arranging training rooms, hotel conference centers, equipment delivery and any other training needs in a timely manner
  • Assist EHR Implementation Manager in coordinating on-site operations assistance
  • Partner with project management, operations, and clinical teams on the planning and execution of the EHR go-live
  • Start communication thread, and maintain updates to that thread prior to and during go live
  • Send rosters and daily updates to EHR Implementation Manager during training days
  • Facilitate the transition of a site to support and Client Success teams
  • Join all calls pertaining to training and go live including daily Project Manager calls
  • Attend weekly 1 : 1s with EHR Implementation Manager

    • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES :

  • Excellent knowledge and use of computer and technology including but not limited to Microsoft office products
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train large and small groups both in person and remotely
  • Ability to patiently assist people with differing technological skills
