We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor / Manager to oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department in a non-profit organization. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and employees, while maintaining compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central and demonstrate a collaborative approach to leading the team.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage daily accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for invoice coding, check runs, and vendor management.
  • Utilize Dynamics 365 Business Central to optimize payable workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Lead efforts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts payable activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve vendor payment issues.
  • Train and support team members on accounts payable processes and software systems.
  • Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all vendor invoices and payment transactions.
  • Assist in audits and financial reporting by providing accurate accounts payable data.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts payable inquiries and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable management, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of invoice coding, vendor management, and check run processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with financial record-keeping and compliance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve vendor-related issues.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
