As a Shipping Coordinator you will be part of a fast-paced, growing vintage luxury company. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Shipping, you will be responsible for scheduling carriers, resolving problems concerning transportation and logistics, entering information into the ERP / EDI system and working with our Wholesale department to resolve customer issues
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Create Export Documents for Overseas Shipments such as Custom Invoices, NAFTA, Commercial Invoices / Pro Forma, and Declaration.
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure there is consistency among all data sources between merchant, vendor, operations, warehouses, and inventory management systems
- Schedule trucks for pickup appointments upon customer request.
- Assist with tracking shipments and providing promptly communicate regarding service issues
- identify issues and update teams on shipment progress
- Print necessary shipping documents such as Bill of Ladings, P.O.D.’s, and Master Bills.
- Assist in reconciling inventory and customer shipping discrepancies.
- Help load / unload trucks.
- Order shipping supplies when needed.
- Responsible for ensuring all transactions are recorded on a daily basis
Qualifications :
3+ years experience in shipping and logisticsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel requiredPrior experience working with International Shippers, UPS, FedEx and USPSDemonstrated experience with inventory management.Working knowledge of EDI setup and docs.Competent in working with routing guides.Well versed in UPC creation and product catalogs.Ability to work with all levels within the organizationDetailed oriented with excellent follow-up skillsPassion for details, deadlines, and teamworkStrong assessment skills and ability to prioritize tasksHighly motivated, proactive and problem solver, focused on results.College degree preferred
