We are looking for a dynamic Director of Customer Solutions with an entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate will be passionate about winning over customers and driving new business growth through innovative engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

The Director of Customer Solutions is pivotal in driving growth, focusing on discovering, initiating, and qualifying new business opportunities, and guiding teams through the full business development cycle to successful awards. This prominent role is central in crafting and executing strategic account plans and spearheading initiatives for specific customer groups. The role involves championing ITA's evaluation, creation, and execution of forward-thinking business strategies to solidify our market standing and achieve financial and strategic goals. The Director will primarily target mid-size opportunities valued between $20M and $99M, and large opportunities exceeding $100M. Prioritizing prime contracts is crucial. Additionally, the Director will play a key role in expanding growth across various markets, seamlessly integrating existing contracts with new ventures.

Specific responsibilities include :

  • Identify, qualify, shape, and win opportunities. The candidate will lead and close capture opportunites; representing ITA and marshalling the ITA resources to identify and close deals.
  • Develop customer relationships and position for opportunities using a consultative business development approach.
  • Lead customer meetings (e.g., initial discussions, formal presentations, informal conversations).
  • Manage a multi-year opportunity pipeline within assigned DoD agencies / market segments.
  • Inspire, motivate, and lead teams – without direct line authority – to achieve distinctive results.
  • Work closely with corporate and business unit leadership, proposal support, contracts management, pricing and other colleagues to ensure the development and delivery of winning proposals.
  • Play a central role in helping to develop account strategies.
  • Lead internal opportunity problem-solving and gate review discussions.
  • Develop effective teaming partnerships with other firms.
  • As a member of the ITA leadership team, collaborate with corporate and business unit leadership to improve Pwin, conduct proposal reviews, develop innovative solutions to promote ITA’s domain expertise and data analytics capability, use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique value propositions and differentiators, and attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market needs and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Perseverance and tenacity in leading opportunities through the entire lifecycle
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic, and collaborative environment
  • Experience building relationships and networks within DoD customers
  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 or more years of experience in leading Business Development and capture activities.
  • Established relationships with senior military personnel and government leaders in the Federal Defense space.
  • Excellent organization and communication (e.g., executive-level presentation) skills, whether in person or virtual environments
  • Ability to build trusted relationships externally (e.g., customer, teaming partners) and internally (e.g., senior and junior colleagues)
  • Experience / knowledge of GovWin or other opportunity research tools
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Desired Experience :

  • Demonstrated access to key government customers and industry partners
  • Winning record leading highly competitive captures and proposals >
  • Proven experience developing and implementing a business growth strategy
  • Proposal and technical writing experience in support of target markets.
  • Comfortable meeting with new clients and diverse organizations
