Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated GIS Analyst to join our team, providing data-driven geographic information solutions. This role involves merging geospatial and cartographic skills to deliver sustainable geospatial solutions to customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire, analyze, compile, evaluate, and review geospatial data for use in standard and non-standard products.
  • Attribute, exploit, extract, format, manipulate, position, and symbolize geospatial information.
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and currency of geospatial information produced in-house or in collaboration with contractors and suppliers.
  • Support project requirements for national, military, and civil partners and clients.

Essential Skills

  • Working knowledge of ESRI GIS software such as ArcGIS or ArcMap.
  • Experience in extracting, manipulating, and utilizing GIS data.
  • Completion of GIS college classes or certifications.
  • Familiarity with routine office software for electronic mail, spreadsheets, and word processing.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with ArcPro and its functions and tools such as reshape, create feature, apply attribution, apply definition queries, join / relate, and create buffers.

    • Work Environment

    The work environment is collaborative, with an emphasis on innovation and quality. Technologies primarily include ESRI GIS software, and routine office software is used for communication and data management. The role supports a variety of partners and clients, necessitating a flexible and dynamic approach.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 / hr.
