You must have excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with clients during on-site inspections. Computer literacy, fast typing, and the ability to navigate and use Microsoft Office Suite are required. Must possess a clean driving record and must be able to pass a background check. About Us : We provide environmental consulting, specializing in permitting and compliance solutions across many industries with a primary focus on serving the aggregate production, sand and gravel processing, concrete batch plant, asphalt plant, and crushing / screening industries. Our services include environmental due diligence, air quality and stormwater permitting and compliance.
Job Description :
As a Environmental Specialist, you will :
- Perform compliance inspections at clients’ sites in various locations across Texas
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies
- Perform stormwater and wastewater sampling
- Assist with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3), Air Quality Permitting, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans.
- Develop and coordinate training materials and programs to ensure clients are informed of environmental policies and regulations
- Visit client sites to obtain drainage information and facility site layout
Requirements :
An environmental science or related degree and / or experience in Environmental Compliance Inspections or Environmental Consulting is preferred but not required.
