Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO+I, the Global Project Controls (GPC) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft’s cloud business. The Microsoft portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world’s largest online services.
We are seeking an Integrated Planning Director - AI Portfolio with experience in Project Scheduling / Planning, data analytics and business intelligence to join the Global Project Controls (GPC) team within CO+I Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the team's Rhythm of Business (ROB) and collaborating with both internal and cross-functional team counterparts. Your responsibilities will include overseeing team participation in key business deliverables, running business reviews, and engaging in strategic business planning activities.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and Microsoft teams to create and implement execution plans, ensuring alignment for strategic initiatives across various functions within your area of ownership. Additionally, the candidate will track and report on success criteria and performance metrics, such as Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to measure the quality, adoption, usage, impact, and effectiveness of the program. Finally, understanding the organization's strategy and deliverables for the upcoming years will support fiscal year budgeting and resource management planning in collaboration with the Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate should have a well-rounded understanding of Construction Project Controls or Construction Management practices and principles. Also, they must have a high level of attention to detail, excellent technical writing skills, and the ability to meet deadlines; be highly collaborative, self-motivated, problem solving, and comfortable with taking the lead on projects / initiatives.
This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ, Washington DC. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates should relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 50% from home.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations or Export Administration Regulations, the EU

Preferred Qualifications :
Technical Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
