Echodyne offers the world's first compact solid-state true beam-steering radar for a wide range of industries and applications. Our high-performance radars work in all weather and are designed for autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft & drones, and security of borders, critical infrastructure, and smart cities. The company combines the patented technology of metamaterials with powerful software to create a radar sensor with unprecedented performance at commercial price points. Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in automotive, transportation, critical infrastructure protection, border security, smart cities, uncrewed aircraft systems (uas), and airspace management including urban air mobility (utm).

Echodyne is seeking a principal product manager with experience in complex hardware and software products to join our team working in a fast-paced environment, developing high-performance commercial radar solutions.

The principal product manager will help develop the echoguard, echoflight, and accessory ecosystem roadmaps and act as the voice of the customer, developing clear product requirements and championing the product vision across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Engage with external customers, partners, and radar integrators to understand exact use cases
• Collaborate with customers and technical teams to define radar (hardware and software) and accessory ecosystem feature roadmaps that align with business needs
• Prioritize and group features to align with product release cycles
• Create detailed and effective customer product requirements for application and embedded sw releases
• Clarify and communicate the "what" and the "why" across the organization
• Serve as the voice of the customer to represent their interests throughout the product development cycle
• Collaborate with the development team to write, review, and iterate design documents and task descriptions to ensure architectural consistency, product quality, and a rapid release cadence
• Work with program management office to ensure and maintain the soundness of the program plan, risk, timelines, and costs
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and solutions engineering in the feature go-to-market process
• Other related tasks required to fulfill the needs of the business

Qualifications

The pay range for this position is $180,000 - $230,000 annually. Our comprehensive benefits package currently includes :
