International Logistics Coordinator

  • Location : Onsite – Portland, OR
  • Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday, flexible start time
  • Type : Contract (with strong potential for permanent hire)
  • Pay : $30–$36 / hour DOE
  • Benefits Upon Conversion to Permanent Hire : Company pays 100% of medical premiums for employees. 2 weeks of PTO + holidays and floating holiday.

About the Role

LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive International Logistics Coordinator to manage import and export documentation processes. This role is critical to ensuring smooth and compliant international shipments and will involve regular interaction with clients and suppliers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage documentation for international shipments (import / export).
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and customs documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Use Excel to track and analyze logistics data, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination, preferably in lumber, paper, or related industries .
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bilingual is a significant plus, especially in Spanish or Mandarin.
