JOB TITLE : Inventory Materials Assistant

LOCATION : Gilbert, AZ

PAY RATE : $24.95 / hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details :

Job Type : Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Clearance : Active Secret Clearance preferred; must be able to obtain Secret Clearance (not required to start)

Work Schedule : Tuesday Friday, 6 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM

Summary :

• Support Apache Fire Control (AFC) Arizona Support Center (ASC) operations in :

Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation

Receiving and inventory management

Maintaining accurate material and inventory records

Inspecting and verifying materials

Preparing documentation and reports

Investigating discrepancies in stock counts

Requirements :

Active Secret Clearance preferred; must be able to obtain Secret Clearance (not required to start)

High school diploma or GED

1 2 years forklift and / or pallet stacker experience

1 2 years warehouse operations experience

1 2 years box truck (non-CDL) operation with 40 lb. lift gate

1 2 years Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) experience

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Valid U.S. driver's license

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Candidates must be able to pass a physical conducted by a local health services provider (Concentra). This screening includes eyesight and hearing evaluations. After review of results, the team will provide on-site truck driving training and certification.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills :

1 2 years experience packaging items for shipment to commercial and / or military standards

1 2 years shipping / receiving warehouse operations experience

1 2 years using inventory management software

Basic knowledge of U.S. Army supply operations

Familiarity with Army regulations and supply processes

Prior military experience
