PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as liaison between clients, outside vendors, and agency departments to coordinate efficient and timely sales processing.
- Coordinate the proposal process to ensure customer equipment and proposal requirements are completed on time.
- Enter Customer RFQ's into Sales Tracking System and establish proposal output required by various departments.
- Participate in meetings with the Operation and Sales teams and to ensure clarity around goals, issues, and opportunities.
- Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
FACILITY / GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management
Perform cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.Track parts movement in and out of the warehouse using NOV ERP systemIdentify and correct inventory discrepancies promptly.Ensure stock locations are properly labeled and maintained.Purchasing and Procurement
Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for spare and consumable parts.Liaise with approved vendors and suppliers for order confirmations, lead times, and pricing.Ensure all procurement aligns with NOV’s compliance and cost controls.Receiving and Shipping
Receive shipments and inspect parts for damage or discrepancies.Log and barcode received items into ERPPrepare and package parts for shipment to rigs or other NOV locations.Coordinate with freight and logistics providers for timely deliveries.Documentation and Reporting
Maintain documentation of receipts, shipments, and inventory adjustments.Generate reports from ERP on stock levels, usage history, and critical items.Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.Support for Rig Operations
Act as a key link between the rig operations team and the supply chain.Ensure all critical rig-down parts are available or expedited.Participate in planning mobilization and demobilization of rig equipment and parts.System and Compliance Tasks
Enter part information and updates into ERP system accurately.Follow NOV’s quality control procedures and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) guidelines.Support asset tracking and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) activities.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong proficiency in ERP systems. Experience in Oracle Omega and / or RTIC a plus3-5 years inventory and parts sales experience required.Basic understanding of rig components and drilling equipment requiredOrganizational skills for managing high volume parts flowAttention to detail for inventory accuracy and documentationGood communication skills for coordinating with field staff, suppliers, and logistics teams.JOB REQUIREMENTS
