Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Operations Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in accounting (or a related field) who thrives in Excel / Sheets, learns quickly, and enjoys diving into data. You will play a key role in reviewing commission reports, identifying discrepancies, spotting patterns, and ensuring accuracy across our compensation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage commission payments, ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, perform data entry, record sales data, and handle complaints related to transactions.
Review, analyze, and reconcile commission reports for accuracy and completeness.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in commission data.
Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in sales and commission reports.
Maintain accurate commission tracking in Excel and other reporting tools.
Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure commission data integrity.
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist with ad hoc data analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, etc.).
Strong analytical and data entry skills.
Ability to work with large datasets and identify key insights.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, processes, and systems.
Experience with commission structures, sales data, or other reporting tools (not required).
