Position Overview : The Research and Assessment Analyst is a highly skilled and analytical professional responsible for providing comprehensive data analysis to advance the university's strategic and operational objectives. This role is crucial for ensuring data-driven decision-making across the institution through sophisticated statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and comprehensive reporting. The analyst will independently manage complex analytical projects, proactively support compliance and accreditation data requirements, and meticulously track institutional performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Communication Management : Respond promptly to daily communications via email and voicemail, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
2. Policy Adherence and Ethical Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to the University's mission, policies, procedures, ethical standards, compliance with data protection regulations, and pertinent legal regulations in all aspects of admission activities.
3. University Engagement : Participate in Commencement Exercises, new student orientation, university events, committees, self-studies, and University Commencement Ceremonies.
4. Special Projects : Execute special projects assigned by the President or supervisor.
5. Compliance Adherence : Ensure compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, as well as FNU Policies, Procedures, Rules, Regulations, and Code of Ethics. As well as Title IX, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, as amended from time to time (“FERPA”), the Florida Information Protection Act of 2014, as amended from time to time (“FIPA”), the EU General Data Protection Regulation as amended from time to time (GDPR) and all other applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations

Position Responsibilities :
1. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Accreditation Assessment, and Research serves as the primary analyst for institutional research initiatives, demonstrating discretion and professionalism when managing sensitive institutional data and analytical inquiries.
2. Under supervisory direction, design comprehensive research studies; collaborate with senior administration to strategically plan data collection methodologies, prepare detailed analytical reports, attend strategy meetings, and ensure thorough follow-up on research findings and recommendations.
3. Develop professional statistical presentations, analytical reports, and data visualizations under supervisory guidance, ensuring they align with institutional goals and adhere to best practices.
4. Support university leadership by managing essential data processes and analytical procedures to ensure audit, compliance, and accreditation requirements (such as FERPA, SACSCOC, Title IX, GDPR, etc.) are maintained, including timely and accurate data submissions.
5. Facilitate the exchange of vital analytical information and oversee data processes between multiple departments, including IT, HR, Student Services, Facilities, Campus Deans, and Military Affairs. Keep leadership fully informed about data trends, patterns, and analytical insights across all departments.
6. Under supervisory direction, maintain centralized databases and analytical systems for institutional metrics, ensuring data integrity, security, accuracy, and compliance with privacy regulations and institutional standards.
7. Compile, analyze, and report on comprehensive operational metrics (such as enrollment trends, graduation rates, retention statistics, student success indicators, faculty performance, etc.) for review by senior leadership, supporting evidence-based institutional decision-making and strategic planning.
8. Prepare and review extensive analytical documentation and statistical materials required for internal and external compliance reviews with licensing bodies, accrediting organizations, and governmental entities.
9. Provide high-level analytical and research support to initiatives and partnerships related to the Office of Military Affairs, ensuring data-driven insights support military student success programs and enhance service delivery.
10. Under supervisory guidance, manage daily analytical operations including database maintenance, statistical software systems, reporting protocols, and research documentation systems.
11. Proactively identify significant data trends, analytical opportunities, and emerging patterns to propose actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership consideration, using advanced statistical techniques and institutional knowledge.
12. Design, implement, and manage comprehensive assessment protocols to measure student learning outcomes, program effectiveness, institutional performance indicators, and accreditation compliance metrics.
13. Conduct longitudinal studies and cohort analyses to track student progression, retention factors, and success predictors across multiple academic programs and student populations.
14. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors, often requiring independent analytical judgment and statistical expertise.
