Summary :
Responsible for properly performing financial activities related to the Accounting activities of the Finance Department, in accordance with established policies, procedures and controls.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Analyze and review balance sheet accounts to assure accuracy in the GL and ensures that variances are accounted
- Assist outside auditors when necessary
- Prepare adjusted entries for the next month to correct any variances if necessary.
- Receive checks and payments for deposit
- Prepare monthly schedules for various balance sheet reconciliations and amortizations
- Complete monthly reconciliation of all asset and liability accounts
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements : Qualifications
3 years of experience in accountingAble to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationAbility to work with other department personnel, co-workers and managementPleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and assisting peopleAdvanced computer skillsProficiency using Microsoft Office, especially ExcelAt least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalentDegree in Accounting or some formal accounting education preferredAbility to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situationsObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesProficient in BlackLine or other balance sheet reconciliation softwarePhysical Requirements
