Essential Physical and Mental Functions :

Must be able to work 2-way radios

Be present on property as a crime deterrent

Be hands-on and able to deescalate situations

Must be able to handle stressful situations

Read, understand, and write and speak English; constantly use speech and hearing

Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions

Constant mental alertness and attention to detail are required while setting priorities and following up on assignments

Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public professionally and effectively; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines

Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.

Must be proficient with technology such as computers and using phone apps.

Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions

Must be able to handle the pressure of working with a high volume general public.
