Systems Engineer II

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer II responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the Bank's systems infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Minimize end user impacts during installation and testing of software, patches, and upgrades while resolving advanced technical issues Coordinate testing with application support staff to ensure functionality, stability, and performance of systems Continuously monitor and improve systems and processes through automation and technical enhancements Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Systems Programming, or High School Diploma / GED with 8 years of experience Working knowledge of programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Rexx, ksh, or Perl Understanding of data flow, network interfaces, and protocols including TCP / IP and DNS Knowledge of relational database management systems and desktop / server virtualization Ability to be on call 24 / 7 for system support
