An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services in an elementary school setting. This contract position is ideal for professionals who are looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young students while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. With a supportive environment and an eager caseload, this role offers the chance to enhance communication skills for approximately 20 students whose families are already onboard with virtual therapy.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for a diverse caseload of elementary students.
  • Provide direct teletherapy services, utilizing innovative tools and strategies to engage students effectively.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to support their communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress in alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language therapy.

Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license and certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience with teletherapy platforms and strategies for engaging elementary students.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families in a virtual setting.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic support tailored to individual student needs.
