About the Role
As a Senior Experience Designer in this contingent assignment, you will lead strategic design initiatives that shape user experiences across digital platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex design challenges, drive usability improvements, and influence product direction through thoughtful design strategy and execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional design projects that impact product usability and customer experience.
- Develop and implement user-centered design solutions for web and mobile platforms.
- Define and promote design standards, guidelines, and best practices across teams.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of UI / UX challenges, considering multiple factors including user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Advocate for design excellence and stay ahead of industry trends to inform strategy.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to align design efforts with business objectives.
- Present design concepts and milestones to peers, leadership, and executive stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline digital experiences and reduce user friction.
- Provide usability support and guidance to product development teams.
- Make strategic decisions that require a deep understanding of design principles, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in experience design, content design, design programs, design research and strategy, or product design.Demonstrated expertise through professional work, consulting, education, or military experience.Background in Online / Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic Design, or Visual Arts.Preferred Qualifications
Strong portfolio showcasing complex design projects and strategic impact.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
