As we prepare for the grand opening of Pretty Ugly, we are actively seeking to expand our team. Responsibilities :

Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining stock levels.
Lead and manage a team of bartenders and bar staff, ensuring efficient workflows and providing guidance and support.
Uphold and enforce sanitary practices, including proper cleaning and maintenance of bar equipment and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Create and implement training programs for staff to maintain high-quality service and knowledge of spirits and cocktails.
Develop and update cocktail menus, ensuring a diverse and innovative selection to meet customer preferences and market trends.
Foster a positive and cohesive work environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and professionalism among staff.
Monitor and analyze bar performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute marketing initiatives and special events.
Covering shifts for Bartenders / designated bartending shifts.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a craft cocktail bar setting, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.

Proficiency in ordering supplies, managing inventory, and controlling costs to maintain profitability.

Thorough understanding of sanitary practices and ability to enforce them to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Extensive knowledge of spirits and cocktails, including trends, techniques, and the ability to curate an exceptional drink menu.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage a team and interact with customers and suppliers.

Proven ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and maintain composure during high-volume periods.

Understanding of financial management and ability to analyze performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
