Civil Engineer (PE) - Public Works - Dallas, Richardson, or Frisco, TX

Halff has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to join our growing Public Works group based out of one of our North Texas offices (Dallas, Richardson or Frisco, TX). The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in municipal infrastructure design, including roadway and drainage projects, and is a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to quality and integrity. This position offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth and potential ownership in the firm.

What you will do :

  • Work under the direction of a Professional Engineer Team Leader on municipal infrastructure design projects
  • Collaborate with other design staff, including internal and external teams, and clients to deliver projects that contribute to the growth and safety of Texas communities
  • Work on multiple Public Works projects and related tasks to meet project and business needs
  • Assist in managing the workload of design staff, including other Engineers, EITs, and technical staff
  • Assist in development and management of project scopes, budgets, and schedules

What you will need :

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Texas
  • At least 4 years of design experience in municipal infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D CAD software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
