NORTHERN HASEROT “The Midwest's Leading Independent Food-Service Distributor since 1878” is adding to their Sanitation team! 3rdshift Porter openings available for immediate start !

Job Summary

Our sanitation team is responsible for keeping the facility clean to meet FDA / ODA standards.

The hours for this position are Sunday through Thursday 7 : 30 pm- 4 : 00 am.

Responsibilities :

  • Sweep aisles
  • Clean spills both liquid and dry
  • Recoup damages
  • Operate single ride on pallet jack.
  • Empty trash
  • Operate trash compactor
  • Wipe down guard rails.
  • Other routine daily sanitation and cleaning duties​​ as needed.

Requirements :

  • Ability to stand for long hours.
  • Ability to twist and stoop several times in the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work on all temperature zones (Dry Goods, Cooler, Freezer)

    • Education :

  • Highschool diploma or GED is NOT required
