Reports to : Bar Manager / F&B Manager / Asst. F&B Director
Statement of Purpose :
The Bartender’s primary function is to serve and interact with Members in a warm, accommodating and professional manner, ensuring Member satisfaction. They must provide a consistent level of service that meets the KBYC standards and exceeds the expectations of the Member. They are also responsible for attaining the highest levels of hospitality, quality, and product knowledge. They must maintain the bar and keep it organized, stocked, and clean.
Primary Duties :
- Prepare and serve all beverage products to KBYC specifications.
- Provide Members with hospitality while adhering to KBYC service standards.
- Genuinely interact with Members. Acknowledge Members with a genuine smile and eye contact, using their name.
- Work shifts and stations as scheduled by Supervisor.
- Adhere to daily side work lists and weekly maintenance program. Uphold cleanliness of bar areas (inside and outside the bar).
- Maintain food and beverage product knowledge.
- Read the drink chits that print at service bar and prepare the drinks for the service staff. The bartenders will not make drinks without a ticket
- Use POS to accurately ring both food and beverage orders. Ensure charges are accurate.
- Actively participate in feedback regarding operational improvements.
- Uphold product levels and freshness based on standardized par levels.
- Communicate with colleagues to ensure seamless supply of products and glassware required for the bar.
- Prepare drinks at service bar in a timely manner, while maintaining interaction with Members. Ensure checks are accurate and the correct Member numbers are used.
- Retain overall awareness of product availability and quantity.
- Attend all front of house and staff meetings.
- Effectively manage bar patrons and monitor Member behavior.
- Help prepare for and complete inventories as required by Supervisor.

High School qualification or equivalent is required.Food Handling Certificate is a plus.Experience
Must have minimum 2 years of experience bartending in a full-service establishment.Restaurant experience is preferred.Wine knowledge preferred.Skills
