Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

The Data Entry Pharmacy Technician is responsible for answering phone calls from providers and from the LTC Nursing homes / assisted living centers. This role involves using the Framework software for data entry and sharing the responsibility of claim adjudication with the team. The position is desk-based, primarily involving phone and data entry tasks. Please note that this role will not include cross-training in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls from providers and LTC Nursing homes / assisted living centers.
  • Utilize Framework software for data entry tasks.
  • Handle claim adjudication and share this responsibility with the team.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a pharmacy technician, specifically in an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician role.
  • Proficiency in using Framework software.
  • Previous experience working at a Long Term Care Pharmacy, not retail.
  • Work Environment

    This position is based in a closed-door pharmacy with a flexible shift schedule. You may start as early as 8 : 00 AM or as late as 9 : 15 AM, and the typical workday ends at 5 : 45 PM, Monday through Friday. Additionally, there is a requirement to work one Saturday per month from 9 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
