Hampton University Pharmacy Technician
The successful applicant must possess knowledge of basic laboratory techniques, provide technical support to faculty members and students as well as be expected to utilize managerial skills to maintain inventories and research or classroom laboratory equipment. The successful candidate is expected to serve on school committees in compliance with the duties and responsibilities associated with being a Hampton University staff member.
Examples of Duties
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Prepping classroom laboratories for instruction
- Maintaining laboratory inventories
- Maintaining equipment logs
- Scheduling classroom and research equipment maintenance
- Ordering supplies, reagents and equipment
- Providing basic laboratory training
- Implementing laboratory safety protocols
- Reporting laboratory related injuries or incidents
Typical Qualifications
