  • Job Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential speech and language therapy services in-home to children ages 0 -3 years old, focusing on early intervention to enhance communication and developmental outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families. Support from a speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) will be provided for full-time candidates.

    Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and feeding / swallowing skills. (PLS-5, Rossetti)
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each child and family.
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions to improve communication, articulation, language comprehension, and social interaction skills.
  • Collaborate closely with parents / caregivers and speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) to promote coordinated care and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Provide family-centered therapy sessions, offering guidance and support to families on implementing strategies and facilitating communication development in natural environments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
  • Stay current with advancements in the field of early intervention and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.
  • California state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children in early intervention settings preferred (minimum 2 years)
