Quality Engineer
Overview As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring product integrity and compliance throughout the development and manufacturing lifecycle. You will develop and implement robust methods for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure products meet design specifications and are free from defects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement advanced testing procedures and equipment to support product validation and maintain high quality standards.
- Conduct thorough product testing and analysis to minimize defects and failure rates.
- Analyze quality reports and defective products to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement effective corrective actions, and contribute to supplier quality improvement initiatives.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPIs) with a focus on long-term strategies for Quality, Risk Management, Inspection & Testing, and Supplier Compliance.
- Ensure adherence to domestic and international regulatory requirements.
Project Support :
Direct involvement in supporting a project related to access wire for the neurovascular space.Provide engineering expertise in design and assembly processes.Skills : quality engineering, medical device, quality control, quality management
Experience :
3+ years required; 58 years preferred in a senior staff-level capacity.Strong background in medical device manufacturing and development.Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).Technical Expertise :
Regulatory experience in compliance and documentation.Process validation and design validation expertise.Hands-on experience with extrusion processes.Familiarity with ValGenesis system (preferred).Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) is a plus.Experience Level : Entry Level
Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
