We are seeking a Junior React Engineer to join a rapidly growing team that’s building cutting-edge solutions for industrial automation and autonomous operations. This Chicago-based company is delivering world-class platforms that are transforming logistics and smart yard systems—and they’re looking for a motivated frontend developer to contribute to these mission-critical tools.

If you’re early in your career and looking for an opportunity to grow with a small, high-impact team, this role offers the chance to work on modern web interfaces in a collaborative, agile environment. You’ll help build intuitive, responsive user experiences using React and best-in-class UI practices. Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in frontend development
  • Strong proficiency with React (including hooks and component-based design)
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS (Flexbox, Grid, pre / post-processors)
  • Familiarity with Git and agile development workflows
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code
  • Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience building or maintaining SPAs (Single Page Applications)
  • Exposure to 3D visualization tools such as Three.js or WebGL
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Storybook, Material UI, Tailwind)
  • Experience optimizing frontend performance
  • Understanding of CI / CD workflows or frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)

  • Designing and building scalable backend systems using Java and Spring
  • Developing and maintaining modern user interfaces using React
  • Collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to implement seamless UX
  • Participating in UI / UX discussions and advocating for best frontend practices
  • Writing modular, scalable, and responsive frontend code
  • Testing and debugging interfaces to ensure stability and performance
  • Improving existing components for better maintainability and scalability
