Reporting three days a week to the publisher of Letterform Archive Books and two days a week to the editorial director of the Archives website, the editorial assistant will work closely with editorial team members across the organization, coordinating artwork digitization for both the Books and Curatorial teams; drafting image captions and artwork labels for publications, exhibitions, blog posts, social media posts, and other content; conducting rights research and outreach; reviewing manuscripts in galley, proof, and blueline stages; providing competitive research for potential acquisitions; editing and formatting posts and pages for the website; and assisting in the creation of newsletter copy.This position is in our office in San Francisco up to five days  a week.About Letterform ArchiveLetterform Archive is a nonprofit center for design inspiration, education, and community. Learn more. Position Type and Work ScheduleThis is a full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week during the Archives normal office hours, with occasional opportunities to work weekend and evening events.LocationThis position is a hybrid role that we anticipate working on site at Letterform Archives offices in San Francisco up to 5 days per week.
