Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to enhance our warehouse operations at our location in Weston, FL. This position involves overseeing shipping schedules, collaborating with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, managing documentation, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong logistics and customer service skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly integrate and contribute through training and shadowing. This is a contract role lasting 1.5 years, with potential for long-term growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer and operate the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging, and shipping of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping materials to manage the flow of goods and optimize warehouse space.
- Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate the movement of products from the warehouse with all 3PL companies.
- Conduct ad hoc system investigations and necessary reporting.
- Manage all aspects of shipping documentation, including creation of shipment authorization paperwork, verification of packing slips, and coordination with 3PL partners for freight and customs documentation.
- Handle multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Manage additional projects and responsibilities as required.
- Maintain quality, ensure audit compliance, and uphold record-keeping standards.
- Ensure company quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Essential Skills

This position is based onsite in Weston, FL. Available shifts include the 1st and 2nd shifts, which consist of 8-hour days starting at 7 AM or 11 AM. The team is part of the Mako warehouse team, characterized by a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00 / hr.
