Job Title : Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Based

Location : Lompoc, CA (Middle & High School setting)

Contract Dates : August 18, 2025 – June 15, 2026

Schedule :

Day shift : Monday – Friday

Hours : 7.5 hours / day, 37.5 hours / week

Shift Time : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Position Type : Full-time, Contract (43 weeks)

Job Description :

We are seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based therapy team for the upcoming academic year. This in-person role will serve a middle school / high school split caseload, supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs.

The SLP will provide screening, assessment, and intervention services that foster academic success and personal growth, while collaborating with educators, parents, and related service providers.

Responsibilities :

Screen, assess, and identify students with communication disorders that impact educational progress.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and objectives.

Provide direct and indirect therapy services within the school setting.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and para-educators to support student success.

Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required.

Requirements :

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Active California SLP License.

ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP).

California CTC (Credentialing) requirement must be met.

Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.

Must be available for onsite fingerprinting and orientation prior to start date.

Willingness to arrive at least one week prior to the assignment for compliance clearance.

Orientation hours are billable .

Out-of-state candidates must have California licensure before submission (not eligible if still in CTC / Aya Licensure Project process).
