Location : High Point, NC 27262

Healthcare Setting : Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 20 beds

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 09 / 02 / 2025, End : 11 / 29 / 2025)

Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7pm start)

Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1570 - $1680

Employment Type : Travel Nurse (locum tenens) Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state)

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Proficient in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac strip and rhythm interpretation, arterial lines, titration of drips, ventilator care, vascular lines, chest tubes, CRRT, and post-procedure site care

Experience with advanced medical equipment : EPIC EMR, Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, Philips Intellivue monitors, NxStage CRRT, Edwards Lifescience-Hemosphere / FloTrac, Artic Sun TTM ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients requiring advanced hemodynamic support and continuous monitoring

Manage patients with respiratory compromise, renal failure (CRRT), severe sepsis, post-surgical needs, cardiac arrest, and neuro-medical conditions

Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient status

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and clinical support staff

Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing clinical training

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and standards
