We are seeking a Junior Process Piping BIM Designer to support exciting projects in the Semiconductor, Data Center, and Water / Wastewater sectors. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their design career who wants to gain hands-on experience, grow professionally, and collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers and BIM professionals.
Responsibilities
Develop 2D and 3D piping system layouts using Revit and Navisworks ManageCreate fabrication isometric drawings and 2D drawing views from 3D modelsSupport design coordination across disciplines under guidance from senior staffPerform clash detection reviews and assist with generating reportsContribute to drawing and model production while adhering to project standardsConvert and clean up files between AutoCAD, MicroStation, and RevitAssist senior designers in preparing material takeoffs and parts listsParticipate in team meetings and gain exposure to full project lifecyclesStay organized and engaged on fast-paced project timelinesRequirements
2–4 years of experience in process piping or mechanical designBachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or GED requiredProject experience in Wastewater and Semiconductor (Data Center / Intel project experience highly preferred)Proficiency in Revit (required) and Navisworks ManageFamiliarity with 2D / 3D design concepts; AutoCAD or MicroStation experience is a plusStrong attention to detail with an eagerness to learn from senior designers and engineersEffective communication skills and a collaborative mindsetMust be located near Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; or Boise, ID for onboarding, meetings, and occasional in-office work
