Position Overview :
We are seeking a professional and welcoming Front Desk Receptionist to support our clients psychology practice on a temporary, 5-week assignment . This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients, responsible for greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and keeping the office running smoothly. Given the sensitive nature of our work, this role requires a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide general information as needed
- Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments in our practice management software
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Collect and process patient intake forms, payments, and insurance information
- Manage front desk operations, including mail, filing, and supplies
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
