CAD Designer

Pay : $70,000–$80,000 / year

Schedule & Location : Full-time | 8am–5pm | 100% Onsite | Cincinnati, OH

trak group is partnering with a well-established mechanical contracting organization to find a skilled CAD Designer. In this role, you’ll create precise, shop-ready drawings and coordinate closely with project teams to ensure accuracy from start to finish. What You’ll Do :

Develop shop-ready drawings from engineering packages, customer drawings, or field submissions

Use Revit, CAD, and related software to produce accurate, detailed designs

Complete field layout drawings for construction projects

Break down engineering packages to support coordination

Interpret blueprints, material specifications, and equipment details to ensure accuracy

What You Bring : Required :

Education in engineering or mechanical industry

5+ years in layout, design, drafting, or coordination of mechanical projects

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems

Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and other design tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred :

Previous field experience in the mechanical industry

Leadership capabilities and a proven work ethic
