Join a leader in metal additive manufacturing serving the aerospace, defense, and space sectors. We're looking for a Process Engineer to refine and advance metal 3D printing processes from build setup to post-processing. The Additive Manufacturing Process Engineer will play a critical role in advancing metal 3D printing processes, including machine functionality, build quality analysis, and continuous improvement of AM build strategies. Responsibilities include process control, improvements, and ensuring repeatability from print through post-processing. The role also involves providing training and support for AM technicians on proper equipment setup, teardown, and maintenance. This position requires a combination of hands-on AM expertise, leadership skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Act as process owner for metal additive manufacturingSupport the commissioning and operation of additive manufacturing equipmentDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, checklists, and safety protocols for additive manufacturingResponsible for establishing process flow to meet production rate and quality goalsTrack machine utilization and drive reductions in planned and unplanned downtimeDevelop and implement statistical process control into production processes to further improve reliability and reduce cost and lead timeOptimize process parameters (laser, gas flow, thermal, powder spreading, etc.)Conduct post print review of hardwareProvide AM process expertise to the Engineering team to help drive continuous improvement and successful AM build (set-ups, teardown, monitoring, etc.)Conduct root cause analysis on process deviations and defectsLead Continuous Process Improvement efforts to improve AM production flow BS Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or +4 years of experience in metal Additive ManufacturingExperience working with powder bed fusion metal printing (EOS and SLM)Hands on manufacturing experience in a production environmentExperience working in a fast-paced environmentExperience working within ISO AS9100 / ISO9000 REQUIRED : Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required to support critical milestones REQUIRED : Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance as required for this position. Ongoing employment is contingent upon maintaining the clearance. To obtain a SECRET Security Clearance US Citizenship is required Compensation : $100k-135k / yr #MCTA1
