Work Location & Shifts : 375 Cabela Drive, Verdi, NV 89439. Night Shift : 5 : 05 p.m. 3 : 35 a.m., occasional OT on Fridays

Responsibilities :
Strong, relentless and consistent focus on safetyConducting routine inspections of premises and equipmentPerforming preventative maintenanceHandling basic repairs and maintenance on equipment and throughout facilityOverseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessaryDiagnosing mechanical issues and correcting themRepairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessaryAbility to maintain focus while working individuallyMaintain a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assignedKnowledge / Skill / Abilities :
Industrial HVAC knowledge and demonstrated skillsProven maintenance experience, such as repairs associated with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systemsSkilled in the use of hand and power toolsAbility to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective partsAbility to check / read blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessaryAbility to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenchesForklift, man lift and associated safety equipment experience, preferredExperience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devicesCNC equipment experiences preferredSoftware and program loading experience preferredWelding and metal fabrication experience preferredStrong organizational, follow up, and communication skill and extreme eye for detailStrong time management skills, maintaining an active work list and timely completion of work itemsRegular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service.Follow all operational and safety SOP's as writtenQualifications :
A minimum of 2 years of industrial HVAC experienceA minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance serviceElectrical experience needed in 460 / 230 3 phase services, troubleshooting circuits, motor starters, lighting, and control wiringPneumatic understanding or manufacturing machinery and general plumbing skills highly desirableMust have experience with hydraulic pumps and pipingAbility to weld with mig and stick machineProper use of torch rig, electrical hand tools, grinders, drill motors, die grinders, porta band, and bench grinderMust be able to lift 60+ lbs.Must be able to climb a ladder and work in high areasAbility to work well independently, as well as part of a teamThe ability to work accurately, thoroughly and meet deadlinesMust have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) Technical education is a plusBilingual Spanish / English is a plusThis position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and be always highly alert, at all times.About Owens Corning
