Position Summary :

This position is responsible for supporting Bio-Techne's antibody product line. You will follow standard operating procedures to manufacture these products and will contribute to the ongoing development of new and existing products to help advance Bio-Techne's evolving portfolio.

Key Responsibilities :

Purify monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies following appropriate SOP’s
Document the purification processes in the appropriate computer systems
Prepare buffers as needed for the purification process
Carry out troubleshooting activities under supervision
Collaborate with other departments / labs as needed
Follow guidelines and comply with all company safety, quality, and training procedures and regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

Associate degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience

Or, Bachelor’s degree in a related field and up to 3 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required

Knowledge of basic lab equipment

Knowledge of standard laboratory techniques including column chromatography

Must be able to work in a fast-faced environment where multitasking is required

Must have good verbal and written communication skills

Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to pay attention to details and work independently

Must work well both independently and in a team environment
