From managing daily work orders, to restoring apartments, property wide improvement projects, grounds upkeep and keeping our properties in safe, attractive, and comfortable condition, our maintenance technicians are critical to building communities professionally owned and managed by us.
We are looking for a dynamic, top performing maintenance individual that will work with the maintenance staff who work on day to day maintenance to ensure that the physical condition of the entire property is in safe, attractive and comfortable condition. We are looking for a strong skill set, and a team player.
What you can expect to do in this role :
Satisfies corrective maintenance service requests per work orders following company procedures.
General maintenance duties.
Manages apartment make ready and turnover procedures.
Makes recommendations for contract services and manages the process.
Hires, trains and manages maintenance staff.
Assists the property manager.
Maintains and orders inventory.
Regular inspections.
What you can bring to the role :
General maintenance experience, HVAC experience a plus.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and consistent follow through.
Professional demeanor and the ability to work with a team.
The ability to manage several tasks at once while remaining detailed and well organized.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
What is required :
Some evening and weekend on-call work may be required; must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include holidays.
Transportation.
Tools.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
