Fixed Asset Consultant Opportunity

Join our client, a dynamic and fast-growing food company based in Boulder, CO, committed to delivering high-quality and innovative food products. They are currently seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Consultant to help them clear a backlog and streamline their asset management processes.

They are looking for an experienced Fixed Asset Consultant to assist their finance and operations teams. The successful candidate will manage and streamline the fixed asset accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Fixed Asset Consultant Responsibilities :

Conduct a comprehensive review and audit of current fixed assets to identify and rectify discrepancies

Perform reconciliation of fixed asset accounts, ensuring accurate classification, valuation and reporting

Update and maintain fixed asset registers, ensuring all additions, disposals, transfers and depreciations are accurately recorded

Recommend and implement improvements to current fixed asset tracking and management processes

Ensure all fixed asset processes comply with company policies, GAAP and other regulatory requirements

Prepare detailed reports on the status of fixed assets and provide insights to senior management

Train staff on best practices for fixed asset management to prevent future backlogs

Fixed Asset Consultant Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

3+ years of experience in fixed asset accounting

Strong understanding of fixed asset management and accounting principles

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with fixed asset modules in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle or similar)
