Patient Access Representative II - DS - Patient Access

JOB SUMMARY :

Under general supervision, the Patient Access Representative is responsible for securing and providing appropriate medical and / or behavioral business information to / from patient families and funding sources. Interprets, identifies, communicates, and documents this information by way of : registration and scheduling for patient services, in a team environment. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

H.S. Diploma,GED,or Equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Associate's Degree

1 Year of Experience

1 Year of Healthcare Experience

Experience with Epic or Other EMR systems

Experience with payment collection efforts

Bilingual English / Spanish and / or other languages that meet business needs of the department

The current salary range for this position is $22.00 to $30.27
