Position Summary
The Central Supply Director ensures that appropriate supplies and equipment are available for the Nursing department in order to reach optimal patient care at the best pricing in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical technology preferred

Order all supplies and equipment required by nursing staff with approval from managementStore inventory in an orderly, neat fashion to prevent expiration and contaminationPerform weekly and monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory levels are maintainedReceive, label, stock, and distribute supplies from vendorsServe as facility apparel coordinator (orders and returns of uniforms)Stay current with vendor lists and buying groupsExhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patientsAssist in the evacuation of patientsDemonstrate dependable, regular attendanceConcentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgmentCommunicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary teamSit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hoursRead, write, speak, and understand the English language
