Job Title : Cobol Developer

Location : Pittsburgh, PA

Duration : 11 Months (Possible Extension)

Job Summary :

  • We are seeking an experienced Cobol Developer to support key mainframe modernization initiatives, including the migration of access control systems and report transitions. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams in a Kanban environment to ensure seamless system integrations and handle critical updates to mainframe security protocols.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and challenges
  • Convert ACF to RACF for mainframe access management
  • Focus on development tasks within a Kanban environment
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration
  • Migrate reports from old to new mainframe security software
  • Address gaps in RACF skills for ongoing projects

    • Skills Required :

  • Proficiency in Mainframe Programming
  • Experience with SAS and JCL
  • Knowledge of Z Workload Scheduler
  • Expertise in RACF
  • Familiarity with Cobol and ACF is a plus
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork
