Reporting Analyst

What's the role?

The job of the Reporting Analyst is to prepare reports and communicate data-driven insights to Hilti North America managers, stakeholders and executives to make more informed decisions. The role will initially bring together descriptive reporting through visualizations and automated services. The role will collaborate with other developers to mine, design, support, troubleshoot and maintain data systems while collaborating with organizational leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.

What does the role involve?

• Build, maintain and improve business intelligence dashboard and data reporting platforms
• Create reports and other analytical tools, which are relevant for the business and in alignment with global standards
• Deliver standard reports according to an established calendar with a high degree of accuracy
• Partner with Finance Business Partners to solve business reporting needs by requesting changes and / or additions to current reports
• Work with the business users to gather and document business requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Create Dashboards and report from technical requirements and work with the end users to review gaps
• Provide documentation and train end users on created reports
• Act as the administrator for My Reports for Hilti North America, providing support and maintenance
• Train and support key users of SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence suite (BOA)
• Other duties as needed or assigned
