KBR is looking for an Entry Level DSP Engineer to support our JSTATS and ATOM programs. JSTATS is an existing highly mobile SATCOM system designed for range and training operations that is being modified to expand its mission capabilities and update the UI to a modern architecture that is built in conjunction with end user feedback. ATOM is highly flexible software defined radio (SDR) architecture capable of being deployed in a System of Systems (SoS) approach that requires a highly modular UI that is built to scale with the system while providing a user experience that minimizes training needs while maximizing operator awareness of the system.
As a DSP software engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with developing and implementing SATCOM systems utilizing software defined radios (SDRs). You will collaborate with the end users and internal teams to design and implement a highly efficient and open interface for SDR integration using the ASTRO UX Design System. A key aspect of your role will involve taking input directly from our team SMEs and the users and developing SDRs within the ATOM architectural principals that complies with existing back-end interfaces as well as identifying backend functions that need to be updated or rewritten. Your work will support our Organization's goals of matching highly efficient user's interactions with our existing highly flexible SDR architecture.

Salary Range : $75,915 - $113,820
The salary range posted is based on Colorado Springs, CO. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and / or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
