PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Test sample preparation, assembly, and testing
- Long / Short Term Burst Test ASTM D1599 Pressure Burst
- Burst Test
- MTS Test (if applicable)
- DSC Test
- LOI Test
- Perform R&D, product development, and long-term testing setup / monitoring
- Perform chemical characterization of raw materials and products in accordance with the provisions of the Quality Lab’s analytical procedures.
- Assist in developing QA lab analytical procedures, whenever possible, based on national and / or internationally recognized technical standards.
- Maintain lab records of samples tested
- Assist in the processing, testing, and evaluation Field return samples
- General maintenance of lab equipment and maintain a clean, organized lab area
- Inspecting sample failures and determining cause of failure
- Using lab equipment for analysis of pipe – microscope, DSC and other equipment deemed necessary to complete tasks at hand
- Assisting with winding prototype fiberglass pipe for testing
- Cleaning work area and machines after use, keeping tools and equipment organized and stored when not in use
- Measuring production parts and molds to verify that dimensions fall within tolerances
- Wear appropriate PPE in required areas
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures

- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or Technical Degree with aspects associated with Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business operations, preferredThree years shop / lab related experienceJOB REQUIREMENTS
