Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the analytics team supporting the end-to-end monitoring of payment transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Data Analyst (Jersey City or Chandler)

Location : Chandler, AZ

What's the Job?

  • Building and implementing data collection plans with application subject matter experts for payment transactions.
  • Documenting business transaction information including state transformation and correlation rules.
  • Driving collaboration with partner teams to understand and document all data transaction flows.
  • Developing correlation plans for transaction information logged in big data platforms.
  • Planning reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in data analytics with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel is required.
  • Experience with big data tools such as Splunk, Data Dog, or Elastic Search.
  • Positive team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with banking and global payments is a significant benefit.
