  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our team and help manage our financial operations effectively.

Job Summary :

  • The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, experience with financial software, and a passion for the music industry.

    • Key Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Conduct monthly bank account reconciliations to verify account balances.
  • Prepare and maintain journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Generate financial reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures while seeking opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
  • Review customer insertion orders to ensure all items / services are properly invoiced.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects or tasks as requested by management.
  • Develop and maintain a checklist to ensure that all invoices for the period have been created and sent.
  • Collaborate with external tax accountants to ensure timely reporting and compliance.

    • Qualifications :

  • Proficient in Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other advanced functions).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
  • Experience working with large amounts of data to generate insights and reports.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
