Senior Payer Policy Analyst

A company is looking for a Sr Payer Policy Analyst to assist with policy and alliance development activities. Key Responsibilities Develop relationships with state Medicaid contacts to improve reimbursement for genetic testing Monitor payer policy updates and act as a liaison between medical directors and payer medical directors Support the development of policy positions and advocate for company interests regarding legislation and regulations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant work experience (or 7 years without a degree) Advanced degree (MBA, JD, M.A. / M.S., CGC, RN) is preferred Experience developing State Medicaid relationships and reimbursement for genetic testing Prior work experience with insurance guidelines and payer policy Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management including prior authorization and billing compliance
