As the Hardware Implementation Specialist, you’ll be responsible for providing technology, platform and hardware related training and support to transit agency employees. You will become an expert on RideCo’s technology platform and data driven approach to transportation operations management. As a key client support resource for operations staff, you’ll have an important role in shaping the performance and success of our clients’ next-generation on-demand transportation services.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
- Configure and monitor hardware and software for day-to-day service operations
- Hardware installation including wiring, brackets, applications.
- Diagnose failures and schedule repairs for Tablets, Mounting hardware, VoIP equipment and other hardware.
- Mobile Device Management software
- Telco and SIM card management through diagnosis, service and follow up
- Track and manage hardware assets, and maintain their working order
- Perform in-person training sessions with transit agency employees, drivers on hardware and software
- Facilitate technical training content in various modes through the RideCo’s Learning Management System
- Collaborate with the project team, collect information regarding service issues for investigation and quick resolution, and to continuously seek data-driven solutions to improve the hardware / software platform
- Assist Program Manager in other day to day activities and tasks
- Continuously expand the collective knowledge base of the company through multi-disciplinary learning and knowledge sharing
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of emerging technologies, pricing and alternative solutions
- Other duties / projects as assigned
